/ Local SEO services for single and multi-location businesses
Local SEO services that win the map pack.
Local SEO services for businesses whose customers search with a city name or "near me": clinics, studios, showrooms, trades and multi-location brands. You get a clear scope covering your Google Business Profile, reviews, location pages and citations, delivered by senior specialists and reported in calls, bookings and direction requests.
We check your profiles and map rankings by hand. If local search isn't your bottleneck, we'll tell you.
Choosing who to hire? Local SEO agency: how we work
Illustrative growth curve. The totals are real, rounded down, across four stores using our SEO playbook.
Profile fixes live in 2 weeks/ Sound familiar?
Searched nearby. Shown elsewhere.
Local search is decided in a small box with three businesses in it. If you're not one of them, some of this will sound familiar.
A competitor further away ranks above you
They're across town, newer than you, and still appear first in the map pack. Usually that comes down to categories, reviews and profile activity, not luck.
Your Business Profile was set up once and left
Wrong primary category, missing services, old holiday hours and no new photos since launch. Google treats an untouched profile as a less reliable answer.
Reviews arrive by chance, not by process
A handful of reviews, several unanswered, the latest one months old. Searchers compare star rating, count and recency before they ever open your website.
Every location page is the same page
Swap the city name, keep every other sentence. Google notices, indexes one or two, and quietly ignores the rest, so most branches never rank.
We measure local SEO in calls, direction requests, bookings and enquiries per location, not in pins on a map.
/ What's included
What our local SEO services actually cover.
Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. You can't move your address. Our work focuses on the other two, roughly in this order.
Google Business Profile optimisation
Our local SEO services start with your profile, because it is what appears in the map pack. We go through it field by field: categories, services, attributes, description, photos, products and posts, and fix what holds you back.
Why it matters: the primary category is one of the strongest local ranking signals, and a surprising number of businesses have it wrong.
- Primary and secondary categories checked against the top three competitors
- Services, products and attributes filled in completely
- Opening hours, holiday hours and booking links kept accurate
- Photos and posts on a schedule your team can keep
- Duplicate and unverified listings found and merged
- Fake or keyword-stuffed competitor listings reported to Google
Reviews and reputation
Reviews affect your ranking and whether people choose you once they see you. We build a simple routine that asks happy customers at the right moment, and a reply routine for every review, good or bad.
Why it matters: searchers read the star rating, the number of reviews and the date of the latest one before anything else.
- A review request by email, SMS or QR code at the counter
- Timing set to the moment customers are happiest
- Reply templates your team adapts, not copies
- Calm, public handling of negative reviews
- No incentives or review gating, nothing that breaks Google's rules
- Review count and rating tracked per location
Location pages with something to say
Each location gets its own page with real content: the team, the services offered there, parking and transport, local photos and local reviews. No template with the city name swapped in.
Why it matters: search engines need a reason to index and rank each page, and so does the person deciding which branch to visit.
- One page per location, linked from its Business Profile
- Unique content per branch, written from details you give us
- LocalBusiness schema with address, hours and coordinates
- Embedded map, directions and click-to-call on mobile
- Service-area pages only where you actually serve customers
- Internal links from service pages to each relevant location
Citations and local links
Your name, address and phone number should match everywhere: directories, map apps, data aggregators and industry sites. Then we earn links from local press, associations, suppliers and events that a directory can't give you.
Why it matters: mismatched details after a move or rebrand confuse Google about where you really are and which listing to trust.
- A citation audit across the directories that matter in your country
- Old addresses, phone numbers and business names corrected
- Apple Business Connect and Bing Places set up too
- Industry and city directories chosen for relevance, not volume
- Links from local press, sponsorships, associations and partners
- More on our link building services
Local search optimisation for multi-location brands
With ten or fifty branches, local search optimisation turns into an operations problem. We set up the structure, the rules and the reporting so every location is managed the same way, without someone editing fifty profiles by hand.
Why it matters: one wrong bulk edit can change hours or categories on every profile at once, and nobody notices for weeks.
- Business Profile groups and user access set up properly
- Bulk updates for hours, holidays and attributes
- A store locator Google can crawl, not just a JavaScript widget
- Openings, closures and moves handled without losing rankings
- Rank tracking on a grid around each location
- Reporting by location, region and brand
/ How it works
How a local SEO project runs.
Local SEO moves faster than most SEO work, because profile and data fixes get picked up quickly. Here's the usual order.
Local audit
We search like your customers from each location, map who appears in the map pack and why, and audit your profiles, pages and citations.
You get: a ranked list of fixes for every location.
Profile and data fixes
Categories, services, hours, duplicates and citations get fixed first, because they're fast and Google picks them up quickly. You'll see the earliest changes live within two weeks of kickoff.
You get: clean, consistent data everywhere Google looks.
Pages and reviews
Location pages are rebuilt with real content and schema, and the review routine goes live with your team on the ground.
You get: pages that can rank, and a steady flow of new reviews.
Expand and defend
We earn local links, add service and area pages where demand is proven, and keep watch on competitors and spam listings in your map pack.
You get: a position in the map pack that's hard to take back.
/ Results
Our proof is ecommerce SEO.
An honest note: these figures come from four ecommerce stores, not local businesses. We show them because local SEO runs on the same process: a careful audit, fixes ranked by impact, and pages built for searches that end in a sale or a visit.
SEO, across four stores
16 monthsclicks from Google, without paying for a single one
One of these stores now makes 20 to 30 sales every week from search alone.
Our clients' data stays theirs, so we show rounded totals rather than their dashboards.
/ Is this for you?
Who local SEO pays off for.
✓A great fit if you are
- A business with a physical location that customers visit or call, like a clinic, studio, showroom or practice
- A service-area business that travels to customers within a set radius
- A brand with several branches that needs every location managed and reported the same way
- In a competitive city where rivals already sit above you in the map pack
- Willing to ask for reviews and keep your profile current with our help
✕Probably not a fit if you
- Sell only online, with no local presence. Our ecommerce SEO services are the better fit
- Want a virtual office address to rank. That breaks Google's guidelines, and profiles get suspended for it
- Need to win countries, not cities. See our international SEO services instead
- Have one location and a tight budget. Start with SEO services for small businesses
/ Before you choose
What a good local SEO service includes.
Local SEO offers range from a listings tool with a monthly fee to a full team. Whoever you hire, these are the deliverables worth insisting on, and the questions that show whether they're real.
A written audit per location
Not a dashboard score. A written view of each location's profile, map rankings, reviews and citations, with fixes ranked by what they cost you. If a provider can't explain why a competitor outranks you, the audit isn't finished.
Grid-based rank tracking
Map rankings change street by street. A good service tracks a grid of points around each location, so you see where you appear and where you vanish. One ranking taken from the office address hides most of the picture.
A review routine, not a widget
Look for a written process: when staff ask, through which channel, who replies and how fast. Avoid anyone offering incentives or filtering unhappy customers before they reach Google. Both break Google's rules.
Location pages with real detail
Ask to see a sample. Each page should carry facts only that branch has: staff, services, parking, opening hours, local reviews. If the sample reads the same with another city name, it won't rank for long.
Reporting in calls and bookings
Profile views are not customers. Insist on calls, direction requests, website clicks and bookings per location, with UTM-tagged profile links so visits show up correctly in GA4.
Your ownership, in writing
You should be the primary owner of every Business Profile, with the provider added as a manager. Our local SEO company page covers what else you should own and how to check it.
