/ SaaS SEO company a partner for the long run

A SaaS SEO company for every growth stage.

Choosing a SaaS SEO company is a multi-year decision. Your product, pricing and buyers will change, and the search plan has to change with them. We stay accountable at each stage, report in trials, demos and pipeline, and keep every account and asset in your name.

Ask us anything about contracts, ownership or leaving. You'll get straight answers in writing.

/ Sound familiar?

The plan fit last year. You've moved on.

Many SaaS SEO companies set a strategy at kickoff and keep running it. Meanwhile you've raised a round, moved upmarket or launched in a new country.

A strategy frozen at kickoff

The keyword plan was built for a self-serve product. You now sell to larger teams, and the pages still speak to solo users on a monthly plan.

Reports the board doesn't trust

Traffic charts rise every month, but finance can't link them to trials, demos or contract value, so SEO keeps losing budget arguments.

Your provider holds the keys

Search Console, analytics or the content itself sit in the provider's accounts. Leaving would mean starting from zero, so nobody leaves.

A new account manager every few months

Each handover loses context about your product, buyers and past tests. Half of every call goes on re-explaining what you sell.

We plan SaaS SEO as a relationship that changes stage by stage, with everything kept in your name.

/ What's included

How the work changes as you grow.

A good long-term partner adapts the plan to where your company is now. These are the stages we plan around, and what search should focus on in each one.

Just launched: foundations

Right after launch, searches for your brand are rare and your category may be new. We set up clean architecture, tracking and the handful of pages that explain what you do and who it's for.

Why it matters: fixing structure and tracking early costs far less than untangling a site that grew without a plan.

What you get
  • Site structure for marketing site, app and docs
  • Search Console, GA4 and sign-up events set up correctly
  • Core feature and problem pages for your first buyers
  • Brand and product entity signals in place
  • Research on competitors and category searches
  • A baseline that every later stage is measured against
You own it allAccounts, content, data and keyword maps stay in your name.
Change logEvery change to your site recorded with a date and a reason.
Quarterly planningA session with leadership to reset priorities for the next stage.
Stable teamThe same senior people, not a rotation of new faces.

/ How it works

What the relationship looks like over a year.

Search compounds slowly, so a long relationship needs clear check-points. Here's what you should see along the way, and what you can hold us to.

1Month 1

Baseline and plan

Audit, tracking checks and a 12-month plan tied to your growth stage. First technical fixes ship within two weeks of kickoff.

You get: an agreed baseline and the targets we'll be judged on.

2Month 3

First proof points

High-intent pages are live and indexed. We report early signals: non-brand clicks to product pages and the first sign-ups attributed to them.

You get: a written review of what's working and what isn't.

3Month 6

Mid-year review

We compare results with the month-one targets, share findings with leadership and reset the plan if your product or market has moved.

You get: a revised roadmap for the next six months.

4Month 12

Annual review

A full review of sign-ups, demos and pipeline from search, set against what was spent. Together we decide whether to expand, change focus or wind down.

You get: an honest case for year two, or a clean handover.

/ Results

Proof we can share, and what it means.

We don't name clients, and we won't dress this up as a software result. It comes from a B2B services client, where search worked alongside paid media and conversion work in one programme over two years.

/ Is this for you?

Who we suit as a SaaS SEO company.

✓A great fit if you are

  • A software company planning for years not a three-month experiment
  • Expecting your product to change new tiers, segments or markets
  • Needing board-ready numbers trials, demos and pipeline, not traffic
  • Burned by lock-in before and wanting every account in your name
  • Open to quarterly planning with your leadership or growth team

✕Probably not a fit if you

  • Need a one-off audit only. Our SEO audit services are built for that
  • Plan to run SEO in-house soon. A SaaS SEO consultant can coach your team instead
  • Want work without reporting. Accountability is the whole point of this setup
  • Have no product live yet. Come back once people can sign up

/ Before you sign

How to vet a SaaS SEO company.

SaaS SEO companies are hard to judge from their websites. These checks help you test proof, ownership and accountability before committing to a long relationship, with anyone.

01

Ask for proof you can verify

Request Search Console screenshots, a reference call or a live page they built, not a wall of logos. If they claim software results, ask which metric moved: traffic, sign-ups or revenue. Honest providers say what they can't share and why.

02

Read the ownership clause

The contract should say you own the content, the keyword research and every account: Search Console, analytics, tag manager, CMS. Watch for pages hosted on the provider's domain or tools billed only in their name.

03

Find out who stays on the account

Ask who will work on your account in month one and in month twelve. Frequent staff changes mean you pay for onboarding again and again. Ask how context is handed over when someone leaves.

04

Check the exit terms

Look for a reasonable notice period, a written handover and no charge for getting your own data back. A provider confident in its work has no reason to make leaving hard.

05

Test the reporting before you sign

Ask for a sample monthly report. It should lead with trials, demo requests and pipeline from search, explain what changed and why, and say plainly when something didn't work.

06

Ask how the plan shifts as you grow

A good answer describes how priorities move between launch, scaling and new markets. Our SaaS SEO agency page shows who would actually do that work with you.

Run this list on us too. We'll answer every point in writing.

/ Your options

Lock-in, churn, or a partner?

Long SEO relationships tend to go one of a few ways. Here's how they compare on what matters after the first year.

If you leave Long notice, data hard to get Easy, but little context kept A gap while you rehire ✓Handover document and change log

/ Questions

Contracts, ownership and reporting.

What should a contract with a SaaS SEO company include?
A written scope, targets agreed in month one, a reporting schedule, a clear notice period and an ownership clause that keeps every account, page and dataset in your name. We go through each point with you before anything is signed, and we're happy to work from your own contract template.
Who owns the content and data if we leave our SaaS SEO company?
You do. With us, Search Console, analytics, tag manager and your CMS stay in your accounts, and every page, brief and keyword map belongs to you. When an engagement ends, you get a handover document listing open tasks, the change log and where everything lives.
How do you report results to leadership?
Every month, leadership gets numbers they can use: organic trials, demo bookings and pipeline, broken down by page, with non-brand clicks as context. Each quarter we present to leadership with a review against targets and a plan for the next quarter. Where data is incomplete, we say so.
What proof can you show for software companies?
We share what we can verify. Our strongest lead generation result is from a B2B services client: 14x more inbound leads in two years, from a combined programme in which search played a part. We don't present it as a SaaS case study. The free audit is the best evidence of how we'd think about your product.
How long is the minimum commitment?
Search usually takes 3 to 6 months to show in sign-ups, so we plan on at least that horizon. Exact terms are set in your quote after the free audit. Whatever the length, the notice period and handover steps are written down before you sign.
What happens when our product or pricing changes?
We reset the plan. A new tier, a move upmarket or a dropped segment changes which searches matter. The quarterly review is where this normally happens, but if it's urgent, we shift priorities straight away and update the page map and targets in writing.
Is a SaaS SEO company different from a SaaS SEO agency?
Mostly in what you're judging. With an agency, you judge the team and the day-to-day collaboration, covered on our SaaS SEO agency page. With a company, you judge accountability, ownership and staying power. For a breakdown of deliverables, see our SaaS SEO services.
Can you support us as we expand into new countries?
Yes. Our SEO agency works from Berlin, in English, and our clients sit in German-speaking Europe, France and the UK, plus North America and the Middle East. As you expand, we plan country rollouts, hreflang and reporting by market, so each new market gets its own targets.
