/ Technical SEO agency that speaks developer
The technical SEO agency that speaks developer.
Most SEO audits die in a spreadsheet. As a technical SEO agency, we work the way your engineers do: tickets with acceptance criteria, reviews on staging, QA before release, and fixes we ship ourselves when you give us theme or Git access. Senior specialists only, and founder-led.
You'll talk to the specialist who would do the work, not a sales rep.
Want the full scope? Technical SEO services: what is included
Illustrative growth curve. The totals are real, rounded down, across four stores using our SEO playbook.
Staging checked before release/ Sound familiar?
The audit was delivered. Nothing shipped.
If you've hired SEO help before, you probably got findings. What you needed was changes in production, and that takes someone who can work with your developers.
A spreadsheet, then silence
The last agency exported 600 rows from a crawler, marked half of them critical and moved on. Your developers couldn't tell which ones mattered or what done looked like.
Tickets nobody could build
Improve page speed and fix canonicals sat in the backlog for months, because they had no scope, no affected templates and no way to test them.
SEO broke in the last release
A new filter component or navigation refactor shipped on Friday. By Monday half the category pages carried a noindex tag, and nobody had looked at staging first.
SEO and engineering don't talk
Your SEO person speaks in rankings, your engineers speak in story points. Requests bounce between them, and the work that matters never makes it into a sprint.
We write work your engineers can pick up, build and test, and we check it before it reaches production.
/ What's included
How our technical SEO agency works with your team.
Five parts of the day-to-day collaboration. Each exists because a recommendation only has value once it is live, and stays live.
Tickets with acceptance criteria
As a technical SEO agency, we don't hand over findings. We write tickets: the problem, the evidence, affected templates, the exact change and acceptance criteria your QA can test against. One issue per ticket, sized for a sprint.
Why it matters: a ticket a developer can estimate gets scheduled, while a vague recommendation waits for a quiet month that never comes.
- Tickets in Jira, Linear, Asana or GitHub Issues, in your format
- Acceptance criteria written as testable conditions
- Screenshots, URLs and crawl evidence attached to each ticket
- Effort and impact estimates so product can prioritise
- Grouped by template, so one fix closes many URLs
- Developer questions answered in the ticket thread
Inside your sprints
We join your planning rhythm instead of running a parallel one. SEO work enters the backlog like any other item, gets refined with your engineers and lands in the sprint where it fits, not as an urgent side request.
Why it matters: work that respects your release process ships faster than work that tries to jump the queue.
- Backlog refinement sessions with your tech lead
- SEO items sized and ordered against product work
- A Slack or Teams channel shared with your developers
- Async updates, plus a call when a decision needs one
- A clear owner for every ticket on both sides
- Release notes reviewed for SEO side effects
Staging & release QA
Before a release goes live, we crawl staging and compare it with production: status codes, canonicals, robots directives, rendered content, internal links and structured data. Regressions get flagged with the ticket that caused them.
Why it matters: catching an accidental noindex on staging takes ten minutes, while catching it after Google drops the pages takes months.
- Staging crawled before major releases, behind your login
- Diffs of titles, canonicals, status codes and directives
- Rendered HTML checked on every changed template
- Structured data validated before it ships
- A go or no-go note for your release manager
- A production recrawl to confirm the release matches staging
Code & theme access
Where you give us access, we implement directly: Shopify Liquid themes, WordPress templates and plugins, Webflow, or pull requests to your Git repository for review. Where you don't, tickets go to your team and we review the result.
Why it matters: small fixes like a canonical tag or a redirect rule rarely deserve a sprint slot when we can open a pull request.
- Pull requests to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket for your review
- Shopify theme edits made on a duplicate theme first
- WordPress changes tested on staging before production
- Redirect rules written for your server or CDN
- Nothing merged without your team's approval
- Every change logged with what, where and why
Who's on your account
A senior technical SEO specialist leads your account and does the work. Andrej Zafirov, our founder, stays involved and reachable. When a problem touches analytics, CRO or paid search, those senior specialists join the same thread.
Why it matters: the person who diagnosed the problem also writes the ticket and checks the fix, so nothing gets lost in a handover.
- Senior technical SEO specialists only, no juniors
- A direct line to the founder when you need it
- Analytics specialists for GA4, tag manager and consent work
- Theme work with our Shopify SEO agency team
- One thread for SEO, analytics and paid search questions
- The same people from first audit to ongoing work

How we plug into your engineering workflow, from first access to the first verified fix in production.
Access and tooling
Search Console, analytics, your ticket tracker, a staging URL, and repository or theme access if you choose to grant it.

Meet your engineers
A call with your tech lead to learn the stack, the release cadence, your definition of done and anything that's off limits.
You get: SEO tickets written in the shape your team already uses.
First tickets in the backlog
The highest-impact issues written up with acceptance criteria, sized with your team and pulled into the next sprint.
You get: the first fixes live within two weeks of kickoff.
Release QA rhythm
We crawl staging before each relevant release, review the diff and recrawl production once it ships.
You get: a repeatable check that keeps every release safe for search.
/ Results
Shipped fixes, measurable growth.
Our technical specialists run the same playbook that produced these numbers across four ecommerce stores over 16 months. Technical fixes came first, with content and links built on top of them.
SEO, across four stores
16 monthsclicks from Google, without paying for a single one
One of these stores now makes 20 to 30 sales every week from search alone.
Our clients' data stays theirs, so we show rounded totals rather than their dashboards.
/ Is this for you?
A good match for teams like yours.
✓A great fit if you are
- You have in-house or agency developers who need clear SEO requirements
- You ship in sprints and want SEO work planned inside them
- You run a JavaScript-heavy or custom stack where rendering needs real checks
- You've had audits that never shipped and want someone who follows through
- You want a senior person on the ticket not an account manager relaying messages
✕Probably not a fit if you
- Want a one-off report to file away. Our SEO audit services may fit better
- Have no way to deploy changes. We need a path to production, yours or ours
- Need content or links, not fixes. See our SEO content services instead
- Expect SEO to override every sprint. We prioritise alongside your product work
/ Before you sign
Questions to ask any technical SEO agency.
Ask these before you sign with anyone, us included. Each answer tells you whether an agency will change your production site or only describe what's wrong with it.
Can I see a ticket you wrote?
A good answer is a real, anonymised ticket with evidence, affected templates, the exact change and acceptance criteria. A slide of findings or a crawler export is a warning sign.
Who writes our tickets and checks fixes?
Listen for a named senior specialist who stays on your account. If the person in the pitch hands over to a junior after signing, your developers will notice within one sprint.
How do you test before a release?
Good agencies crawl staging, compare it with production and check rendered HTML on changed templates. 'We monitor rankings afterwards' means problems are found once Google has already seen them.
Will you work in our tools and process?
The right answer is yes: your tracker, your sprint cadence, your review rules. An agency that insists on its own portal adds a translation step your engineers will resent.
Can you implement, or only recommend?
Ask which platforms they edit directly and whether they open pull requests. Advice from people who never touch code often ignores how your stack actually works.
What happens when a fix causes a problem?
You want a clear answer: changes logged, a rollback plan agreed, and an agency that owns its mistakes. Silence here usually means it has never been thought through.
If an agency can't answer the first question with a real example, the rest rarely matters.
